What is 2e?

2e, or twice exceptional is a term used to describe the wildly varied combinations of children who are both gifted and have learning disabilities. This is what 2e looks like in our house: Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD and ODD behaviors, Anxiety, and extreme curiosity.
